🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆☠️💀🤟🤘🦇🇲🇽👍👍👍👍👍
Before your head explodes...it starts @ 1:23 lol
Sorry - Kevin is REO.The rest is just a warm up act.
this announcer needs to lay off the downers, bro
This song has one of Gary Richraths greatest rifts of all time!!
One of my better listening 8 Tracs
The announcer needs to CALM DOWN!!
That's the honest truth , Gary set the band up for success ! God rest you Gary I will remember you .......he was a freebird too .,.....😢
Love the music but all look like old 70s porn stars🤩
REO to me was Gary or Gary and Kevin. All Kevin, is Kevin, not REO. Just because Gary was drinking and Kevin couldn't work with him is no excuse for Kevin not realizing why Gary was drinking. Ya, those ballads are nice Kevin and I'm sure the ladies liked them as well as the record guys, but it's not rock you wussy.
Somebody wake the host up.
Gary no doubt was a badass but, dont forget the keyboard/piano player (forgot his name) but danm , next to Billy Powell from Skynyrd, he is one of the best rock has to offer
Narrator; It's not 'finding your own way home' It's... "Find Your Own Way Home" How does he screw that up? It's right there in print. I love that song : )
Nice track. Terry's vocals here sound like Tom Johnston of the Doobie Brothers, but in Starcastle, more like Jon Anderson! Great stuff!
*"No one can play guitar like Gary plays"* So glad I had the honor of meeting Gary
Excellent! rest in peace Gary Richrath ❤
Simple straight ahead shuffle done right. REO had great roots.
This is excellent! Thanks for posting!!
Never seen this before. Love the blues feel. Know they become much more successful as they evolved , but personally like this so much more. Damn, I missed out.
Classic
Kevin Cronin is there best singer by far!!!!!!
Gary really knew how to play to the crowd and was such a strong force in music! Thanks Gary & REO!
Gary one cool cat
I will-a, be watching this video-a, and jamming along for the rest-a of-a my life-a. Gary Richrath at his best....
Gary could make that guitar talk!
Just a midwest band who played college and small towns paying their dues. Cheap Trick was just like them. Hard work will make breaks for you.
Like this so much better than the Cronin version. What a voice.
Original lineup: Joe Matt - Vocals, Guitar Mike Blair - Vocals, Bass Neil Doughty - Keyboards Alan Gratzer - Vocals, Drums
What year is this from I wonder?
Glad I got to see the real REO SPEEDWAGON. 10cent mixed drinks!!! Along with Alanta Rythm Band. 1977 century theater, Buffalo, N.Y.
Somebody get this host a personality.
In about 1980, I took guitar lessons from a guy who was originally in this band, Bob Crownover. REO wasn’t very popular then and he was only in the band briefly in the late 60’s. I wonder what ever happened to Bob. Did anyone take lessons from him in the 70’s/80’s in Champaign, IL? Also, I remember Terry being a car salesman at Subaru in the early 90’s in Champaign. Interesting where life takes you.
thats when REO was real and not a glam band
very nice
Is it just me or does Terry Latrell look a lot like Tom Johnston of The a Doobies? 😂 Loved Gary’s raw guitar licks back then. 🎸🎶
Yes he does, sounds a bit like him too.
This is one Midnight Special performance I specifically remember along with Catch Scratch Fever by Ted Nugent. Good times
Who on lead vocal?? 😄 Didn't know there were any lead vocalists other than Kevin Cronin and Mike Murphy.
Wow, saw them many times in the seventies early eighties Jordan, my son, who sent this to me early morning of 3/12/23...Good times babe!!!🤗🤩👏👏👏🙌❤️ Thanks for the memories ❤️
😁🙌🙌🙌 let the good times roll. 😁🙌🙌🙌🙌♥️♥️♥️♥️
Someone jealous. Gary was fu**ed by whoever/corporate $$$$$$$$$$
I got into REO with Kevin Cronin and I love his renditions of old REO Tunes such as this but as time went by the band really strayed from where they started and as Kevin got hold of the reins they dived deep in commercial rock. Maybe they sold millions but they lost their sound also to obtain those millions.
lost their soul more like🤨
Agreed. I saw the High Infidelity tour in Wheeling, WV, and I was majorly disappointed!
Much Agree!!!!
Luttrell's voice and Richrath's raunchy licks go so good together!
He's still got it ...I met him a few years ago. My Brother has a music venue in Hutchinson Kansas...The Red Shed Music Venue...recently renamed...Ugly Jack's Red Shed Music Venue. Terry...was the lead singer in a Deep Purple Tribute Band. It was a incredible performance. Sounded like Deep Purple. He performed this very song. It was absolutely awesome.
Like Bon Scott and Angus Young
@@BlazinRiver1 AGREED!! Two bands that I lost interest in after they lost their original front men were REO and AC/DC... 😢
Could that host be anymore dull?
This is cool vintage but nothing beats Kevin singing it on You Get What You Play For.
Agreed
That's one of the reasons we had the fake ID's to get in the RED LIon! How the Hell can they NOT be in the Hall of Fame?
This was the best REO line up by far! Kevin Cronin didn't add anything positive to this band.
Pre Kevin Cronin!!! Hell yeah!
Cromagmon
Kevin outsung this Lemon
@@tomdennis1474no question. Much better.
What a great guitarist Gary was they'd had so many great song and Riffs
Rumor has it due to this performance, the only thing left after it… was the band and the people in attendance . The venue was completely demolished walls and everything .
This video is .... really nice to see. Tha k you
Wait a minute ....... "A 2nd album has already been recorded" ??? With Terry Luttrell ??? I've never heard that. I know Kevin Cronin recorded most of RIDIN' THE STORM OUT before leaving and they replaced his vocals with Mike Murphy's. But I've never heard anything about Terry Luttrell recording a 2nd album before leaving.
Was just about to post the same thing. Wonder if there is a version of the 2nd album with Terry on vocals? Came here today to watch some of Gregg’s playing. R.I.P.
